"Let's Go Team Wilsey"

Goings-on with the Wilseys

I know it's been awhile. We have been oh so busy, trying to get ready for little Abigail's arrival!  I am currently 35 weeks pregnant, scheduled to be induced on november 23.  That means only 4 weeks and 4 days to go :)  At this point, it can't go fast enough. We had a little scare this week. I had what was a small vericose vein explode all the way up my leg... the doctor was worried about a blood clot. However, I had a scan done of my leg this morning and there were unable to find any signs of blood clots or vdt (i think that's what they called it).  That was a huge blessing because had they found something, I would have had to stay in the hospital most likely until her arrival.  Given our family history of clotting disorders, I had pretty much convinced myself that there was going to be some evidence of clotting. At this point, I am still just a very large pregnant person, moving slower, and aching more everyday... but no blood clots, Praise God!!!

Two weeks ago we had the opportunity to see all the Wilsey's up in NY.  We had a blast seeing the family and the girls LOVED getting to play with their cousins!!!!

Emma and Alexa in a canoe with Nana and Papa...
Emma and Alexa in a hammock at Nana's aunt's farm... it was such a neat property and they loved exploring it.

Nana's cousin had a coup full of chickens, the girls enjoyed watching and feeding them... I however, DID NOT!  There is a reason they call them FOUL!!!!

We ended up spending a couple of nights at a hotel WITH a pool!  That was yet another place for lots of fun with cousins.

We spent Sunday at Juliana's family's house.
It's pretty funy to think that this will only be an accurate family picture for 5 more weeks :) And by Christmas we will hopefully have another addition as well.  We are certainly a large group now.
The kids LOVED the trampoline, even the little ones liked being bounced around by the bigger ones.
All the girls... for now :)
One of my favorite parts was Gracie's attachment to Uncle Tim. It was SO sweet.  She hardly left his side all day Sunday. And everytime he would leave her immediate area, she'd start hunting him down.
I had quite a few sightings of them walking somewhere hand-in-hand :)
He was a very good uncle to her!  And it was sweet to watch :)
It was a fun weekend, and probably our last one away until sometime after Abigail arrives.  We are certainly at the point where we are getting anxious to meet her. Emma and Grace are so cute talking about and praying for their sister.... I can't wait to see them all together.

So glad things are going well and there were no clots or dvts (deep vein thrombosis?). We'll be praying that the next month goes smoothly (and quickly, for your sake!).
