Another great adventure was hunting for the giant gnomes at the holden arboretum. I wasn't sure how the girls would like this... Grace does tend to be pretty timid. however, it was a glorious evening.
Emma of course thought the gnomes were her friends, and adored each and every one of them.
Grace, however, stayed safe in the stroller for the first few encounters.
But even our timid one couldn't resist their colorful outfits and decided to hug a few herself.
Of course Da Bekah came along for the fun... we've never known her to turn down a trapse through the woods. Grace has really fallen in love with Bekah this summer and will be So Sad to see her go backto Calvin in another week :(
After their hike through the woods looking for all the gnomes hidden about, they had a picnic while listening to a local band.
And these girls CANNOT hear music without getting the urge to dance :)
I think one of the biggest highlights of our summer has been watching the girls learn to play together. Now, that also means that they are learning to bicker a bit more... but it is so worth dealing with the arguments to get to see them playing and dancing together too :)
