"Let's Go Team Wilsey"

Summer 2009

Well, a lot has happened over the summer of 2009. I have done a miserable job of keeping those of you we don't see too often informed... but I shall try to remedy that in the coming weeks.

WE FINALLY BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!!

After waiting and waiting and waiting on the house in South Euclid that was a short sale, we decided to keep looking and see if there was anything else better out there. And lo and behold, there was the perfect house for the Wilsey's waiting for us just around the corner. It is only about 15 minutes from my parent's house and 5 minutes to the freeway, which keeps us closer to some of our North-bound friends, but still under 30 minutes from church/school. It has 3 bedrooms + a Nursery, and brandnew 2 1/2 car garage, new windows, new siding, new furnace, new air, new electrical and plumbing... but it was built in 1928... so it has some of that old house charm that I love so much (built in cupboards in the dining room, glass door knobs, wood floors, etc.) It is exactly the amount of space we wanted in exactly the perfect spot for our lives right now. It is a wonderful blessing and we are both amazed and God's abundant provision for our family.

Speaking of our family....

For those who haven't heard, Emma will have a little sister come mid-November! Her name will be Grace Naomi :) We had a little more trouble coming up with this name, but finally settle on it mid-August. Naomi is a family name and we both think Grace is just really pretty. I know we "technically" have a couple more months to think about it, but I really like to have a name. It makes everything thing seem more real. We can pray for her by name and not just for "Baby Girl Wilsey", and we can talk about her like she is already here (because technically she is!) Anyway, the doctor says everything looks good, heart rate, blood sugar, iron counts... and we Can't Wait TO Meet Her!

Sam had another exciting summer of softball, mowing lawns and of cours, going to his day job. My parents now own 4 rental homes, so they keep Sam pretty busy in his "off hours". The house they bought at the beginning of the summer was a HUGE project house, but it is finially nearing completion and we are all grateful.

I am about to start my second year at Heritage Study Center teaching Logic and US History. Starting after Labor Day is a BEAUTIFUL thing!

My computer doesn't connect to my parent's internet, so it is quite a pain to get pictures onto their computer. However, I will endeavor to persever and hopefully have some pictures of Emma, the little lady; and the new house up very soon :)
